To make sure my product its going to do good when it hits the bars, i took a few samples and gave it to random people and to some friends so they could try it and give me some feedback. Also i went to a couple bars where i would like to launch my product and asked a couple customers to try my snack while they were having a drink or while they were entertaining at the bar.
To my surprise the feedback was very positive, only a very few people that don't eat crab didn't feel really good about my product but overall everyone loved the product and the whole idea behind it. Guys in general liked it alot i had no complains and girls loved it as well but there were a couple of them that were kind of picky and didn't really enjoyed the idea of handling the corn nuts with their own hands but once they took a couple bites they feel for it.
"demographic segmentation divides the market into segments based on variables such as age, gender, family size, family life cycle, income, occupation, education, religion, race, generation, and nationality. Demographic factors are the most popular bases for segmenting customer groups. One reason is that consumer needs, wants, and usage rates often vary closely with demographic variables."
The few friends that tried my snack loved it right away, they really liked the idea of the sriracha flavor and of course the crab flavor, they also said it will be really cool to collect some of the best packages just for fun.
