Week 3 EOC Making Money For Good

Philanthropy and business pair perfectly at pencils of promise, a New York City-based nonprofit that funds and builds classrooms and schools in South America, Africa and Asia. During back-to-school season last year, PoP collaborated with cosmetics sample company birchbox on a special edition "Beauty School Supply Kit" that sported a ruler-themed design. In August Birchbox donated 15 percent of total sales from its online shop to PoP--enough money to build an entire school. (On average, PoP can build a classroom for $10,000 and a school for $25,000.)
I think this organization has a solid structure and a clear idea of how they want to help communities in South America, Africa and Asia. They have also partnered with big players such as google and starbucks which has been really successful, this type of fund raising business or charity organization its a great idea that promotes itself with simple products that make people want to buy them.

Week 2 EOC: Boston Consulting Group - Video Games

I think the game consoles market its going to end in the upcoming years because people are looking for more fun and easy games to play instead of the difficult, not so fun and expensive games that game consoles currently offer. Big game developers are finding out that gamers want more free games to play instead of having to buy the material game, games in the near future may be created by all kinds of creative game developers, people that want to create games to entertain gamers right where they are at instead of having people going to their houses so they can play on their consoles, in these days people are rarely home because everybody are too busy doing things all day long.
Star: Streaming video games
The number of gamers keeps increasing and now they are exploring different platforms because they dont really have the time to go and play with their consoles any more, most people have their consoles sitting at home but they just don't use them as much as they used to.(CNN.com)
Question mark: Wii u
big game developers are getting to a point where they are going to have to stop fabricating game consoles as we currently know, the upcoming versions of the new Wii u, and play station 4 could be the last versions before the industry steps into a whole different concept of video games.
Cash cow: X box, Play station
Game consoles are not helping the gaming industry anymore because most people aren't using the consoles to play video games, but to stream online programming from Netflix or YouTube (CNN.com).
Dog:  Play station,video games
Most people in these days are realizing that paying 50 or 60 dollars for a game its not the best deal so they are starting to look for different options and one example are the social games ( farm vile, angry birds, mafia wars...) are the kind of games people are playing now days. Look at the number of free or cheap homemade games available in the mobile market today and you will have an ides where future games my be heading. (hongkiat.com).

week 1 EOC: My Voice

The name is Lucas i was born and raised in Colombia, my passion for music started back in my home country where i joined the high school orchestra which is actually a cool thing down there . When i came to the US my world basically opened up and i saw so many opportunities that i didn't wanted to be a musician only so decided to enrolled at the Art Institute of Las Vegas as an audio production student. So far i like it a lot and as the quarters go by i can see the many things i could do with the skills im being thought at school so im excited about it. Im into a variety of music but i really like the different variations of electronic music such as tech-house, house, techno, hard styles, trance, dub and trap.I also have a lot of respect for my countrys home music which involves a lot of african and indian rhythms that have been around and evolutioning for many years. Usually when im not at school i am working or hitting up the gym or playing soccer which is my favorite sport ever.

Week 1 EOC Great Customer service

A great customer experience i can remember about was from the dealer i bought my car from. Usually when your buying a car your always afraid your not going to get the car you really need or want, if you go to the big dealerships they want to put you on a new car for sure and when you go to the smaller dealerships they'll put you on a malfunctioning car mos likely. After visiting a few of these places i came across a place where i was welcome really  good and the first thing they let me know before anything was that i didn't have to compromise if i didn't feel comfortable with the deal, so i sat down and they looked for the car that could fit my budget depending on my income and my credit, they explained every little detail that i should be aware of as the buyer, i was so comfortable with the way they pictured the deal on paper that i got my self a car with them and i haven't had a problem with it since then.
